The Milwaukee Veterinary Medical Association invites all DVMs and CVTs to a continuing education seminar:

"Canine Corneal Disease"


PRESENTED BY: Erin Gunderson, DVM, DACVO - Eye Care for Animals, Pewaukee, WI

Dr. Gunderson received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology in 2001 and a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2006, both at the University of Saskatchewan. She completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine, also at the University of Saskatchewan. After, she spent a year in small animal general practice in Edmonton, Alberta, she then completed an ophthalmology clerkship with Eye Care for Animals in Tucson, Arizona. Dr. Gunderson joined Eye Care for Animals in 2009 and completed her three year residency in veterinary and comparative ophthalmology. In 2012, she was named Eye Care for Animals’ Resident of the Year. Dr. Gunderson became board certified and achieved Diplomate status in 2012.

Dr. Dennis Horter is a senior area veterinarian for Zoetis (Pfizer) for the upper Midwest region. He performed his undergraduate studies at South Dakota State University and received his DVM at Iowa State University while concurrently acquiring a Masters degree in Veterinary Microbiology. He was in small animal practice for 6 years at Prior Lake Pet Hospital in Prior Lake, MN. His primary areas of interest are in anesthesia, pain management, immunology, microbiology, preventative medicine and surgery. Dr. Horter received his board certification from the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners in canine and feline practice and is a Certified Veterinary Pain Practitioner as recognized by the International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management.

Dr. Loebach received his DVM from Iowa State University in 1997. He practiced small animal medicine in the NW for 7 years and then served as a Medical Advisor for Banfield the Pet Hospital.  Dr. Loebach became a diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners in 2007. Currently, Dr. Loebach is a Technical Services Veterinarian for Merial covering Chicago, Northern Illinois, Wisconsin and the UP of Michigan.
